Amid the rising tensions of the American Revolutionary War, a group of young patriots learn just how high the price of freedom can be. Gideon Hammond—feeling the pull of a loyalist family—must decide between conflicting convictions. Flanked by his friends, Benjamin Tallmadge and Nathan Hale, he faces the doubts and uncertainties within himself, struggling to reconcile how he fits into a story much larger than his own.

NOTE:  It is vital that students are available for all performance dates as well as extra rehearsals starting Saturday, June 10, 2026 (final two weeks).

Description

  • Audition material will be sent out at least a month before auditions.
  • We understand that this show happens in the summer when people have vacations planned. You will need to turn in a conflict calendar letting us know the dates you cannot be at rehearsals with your audition.
  • If you become ill or for some reason cannot make it to a rehearsal, please let your directors know ASAP.
  • Missing more than 3 rehearsals may affect casting. If you know you have more than 3 conflicts, please contact the director prior to auditions: [email protected]
  • If we block a scene during a rehearsal and touch it up during another rehearsal and you have missed both you may not be in the scene. 
  • *CALLED REHEARSALS: we may only call specific scenes/characters for these rehearsals. You will receive a schedule several days prior so you can plan accordingly.
  • Rehearsals are MANDATORY from June 10th through the run of the show.
