Description

Pilgrim: His/Her Story

 

This contemporary musical is an adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. Using Bunyan's allegories, the play conveys biblical themes of faith, repentance, friendship, hardship, temptation, death and eternity. From feedback we've received, cast members often experience a deep spiritual journey along with the audience.

NOTE:  It is vital that students are
available for all performance dates as well as extra rehearsals
starting Saturday, June 8, 2024 (final two weeks).

Description

  • Auditions will be video submissions. More details when registration opens. 
  • We understand that this show happens in the summer when people have vacations planned. You will need to turn in a conflict calendar letting us know the dates you cannot be at rehearsals with your audition. 
  • If you become ill or for some reason cannot make it to a rehearsal, please let your directors know ASAP. 
  • You may only miss 3 rehearsals so please take that into consideration before signing up.
  • If we block a scene during a rehearsal and touch it up during another rehearsal and you have missed both you will not be in the scene. 
  • *Music Rehearsals: Will be a rehearsal for main focus on music. It may not be an all-call for the whole night, but you will receive a schedule several days prior so that you can plan accordingly.
  • *We may call extra cast members during music and dance rehearsals for scene work.
  • Rehearsals are MANDATORY from June 12th through the run of the show.
